Onyx Auto Spa — Scottsdale & Phoenix
Restore depth, clarity, and gloss to your paint by carefully removing swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation — by hand and machine, never with shortcuts.
From $495
Paint correction is the foundation of every premium finish. Whether you're prepping for a ceramic coating, restoring a daily driver that's been through too many automatic car washes, or preparing a vehicle for sale, proper correction is what separates a true detail from a quick polish.
Onyx Auto Spa offers one, two, and three-stage corrections calibrated to your vehicle's paint hardness, color, and condition. We measure clear coat thickness, test panels under LED lighting, and dial in the right combination of pad, polish, and machine speed for your finish.
Why It Matters
Eliminates the cobweb-like marring caused by automatic washes and improper drying.
Removes most light scratches that haven't broken through the clear coat.
Brings paint back to its showroom-level clarity — sometimes better than new.
Required before any ceramic coating install to ensure proper bonding.
A corrected vehicle photographs better and commands a higher private-sale price.
Every appointment follows the same careful, documented process — no shortcuts.
Paint thickness gauge readings and LED test panels to assess defects and clear coat depth.
Hand wash, clay bar, and iron remover to start with truly clean paint.
Compound stage to level deeper defects with the right pad/abrasive combination.
Refining polish to remove cutting haze and bring out maximum gloss.
Final IPA wipe, sealant or coating prep, and lighting-booth inspection.
Polishing typically fills or masks defects temporarily. True paint correction removes defects permanently by leveling clear coat with progressive abrasives.
Not when performed by trained technicians. We measure clear coat before and during the process and never remove more material than necessary.
A single-stage runs 4–8 hours; a multi-stage correction typically takes a full day or two depending on vehicle size and condition.
Matte paint requires a completely different process and we'll discuss options. PPF can be polished with the right products to remove light marring.
Onyx Auto Spa comes to your home or office anywhere across the Phoenix metro. Fully self-contained mobile service, every time.
Pair services for the best results — most clients combine paint correction with ceramic coating.
