Onyx Auto Spa — Scottsdale & Phoenix

Paint Correction

Restore depth, clarity, and gloss to your paint by carefully removing swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation — by hand and machine, never with shortcuts.

From $495

Paint correction is the foundation of every premium finish. Whether you're prepping for a ceramic coating, restoring a daily driver that's been through too many automatic car washes, or preparing a vehicle for sale, proper correction is what separates a true detail from a quick polish.

Onyx Auto Spa offers one, two, and three-stage corrections calibrated to your vehicle's paint hardness, color, and condition. We measure clear coat thickness, test panels under LED lighting, and dial in the right combination of pad, polish, and machine speed for your finish.

Paint Correction FAQ

What's the difference between polishing and correction?

Polishing typically fills or masks defects temporarily. True paint correction removes defects permanently by leveling clear coat with progressive abrasives.

Will correction damage my paint?

Not when performed by trained technicians. We measure clear coat before and during the process and never remove more material than necessary.

How long does paint correction take?

A single-stage runs 4–8 hours; a multi-stage correction typically takes a full day or two depending on vehicle size and condition.

Do you correct matte and PPF finishes?

Matte paint requires a completely different process and we'll discuss options. PPF can be polished with the right products to remove light marring.
